About us
The Biography Bookshop is an online bookshop, affiliated to Amazon, which carries 200 outstanding biographies displayed in nine categories. Clicking on the cover of any book will give more information, with a link to where you can buy it at Amazon. In most cases there is a link to a video of the author talking about their work.
CHOICE OF BOOKS
Prize winners. The core of our selection are books by biographers who have in the last twenty years won, or been shortlisted for, book prizes including: Baillie Gifford Prize, Duff Cooper Prize, Hatchards & Biographers’ Club First Biography Prize, James Tait Black Prize for Biography, Pulitzer Prize for Biography.
Well reviewed. More widely, we include biographies that have been well reviewed in publications such as the Guardian, the Observer, the Economist, the Times, the Financial Times, the Literary Review, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the New Yorker.
Classics. We also include some classic biographies which are still in print.
