JONATHAN BATE
Sir Jonathan Bate (born 26 June 1958) is a British academic, and biographer, known for his work on Shakespeare, Romanticism, and ecocriticism. He is Professor of Environmental Humanities at University, Arizona State and a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College, Oxford, where he served as Provost from 2011 to 2019.
