Keggie Carew weaves an account of her father’s life into the history of the Special Operations Executive, in which her father seved during the Second World War. The Special Operations Executive was formed by Winston Churchil in 1940 to work with resistance fighters in German=occupied Europe. Their highly secret activities included reconnaissance, espionage, and sabotage. As his memory began to fail, Keggie Carew set out to capture her father’s life in all its daring, wit and charm. He was an unorthodox man, with an extraordinary story to tell.

Keggie Carew studied English Literature at Goldsmith’s University in London and embarked on a career in modern art. Before embarking on a writing career, she managed an alternative art space called JAGO, and ran a London pop-up shop called ‘theworldthewayiwantit’. She lives near Salisbury, UK.
